As Woodhaven celebrates our 60th anniversary, it’s a time not just for reflection but also for celebration and anticipation of the future. In honor of this special milestone year, we want to highlight our commitment to building and empowering leaders from within our Woodhaven community.

Jamie Pitzen, Director of Residential and Community Services, has been a part of Woodhaven since November 2021, bringing with her a rich background spanning over 25 years in human services. With a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from the University of Missouri, Jamie’s dedication to serving vulnerable populations has been unwavering throughout her career.

Passionate about advocacy and offering a voice to the marginalized, Jamie’s journey at Woodhaven has been marked by a commitment to empowering others. From guiding emerging leaders to championing excellence in care, Jamie’s leadership shines as a beacon of inspiration within the organization.

As she embarks on a journey of personal and professional growth through a master’s in management and leadership, the impact extends far beyond individual development. With a focus on bridging gaps within Woodhaven and fostering collaboration across departments, Jamie’s pursuit of knowledge promises to enrich our organization.

“In its pursuit of industry and service excellence, Woodhaven exemplifies its commitment by providing financial assistance to employees pursuing their Master’s degrees.”

Jamie’s story exemplifies the enduring values of compassion, advocacy, and excellence in service. Through her dedication and vision, she embodies the essence of leadership that has defined Woodhaven’s legacy over the past six decades. As we celebrate this milestone year, Jamie Pitzen’s journey stands as a testament to the enduring spirit of empowerment and leadership at Woodhaven.
