Encircle Technologies FAQs

At Woodhaven we are looking for neurodivergent youth who love to be on their computer and/or have a high interest in learning more about technology or computers.

No. But, we do ask that you be willing to explore as you gain better skills for work in whatever field you choose.

No, we have had students who take college classes and come to EnCircle. We offer direct interaction with businesses, projects, and work issues as well as offer small-group instruction and hands-on learning. We also offer classes on soft skills to help our students.

  3. Ability to learn and work fairly independently, but with supports as needed.

We have classes in web page development, programming, office essentials, and soft skills. As a sample, we’ve had classes in Adobe Photoshop, HTML/CSS, WordPress, Excel, JavaScript, Digital Literacy, Interview/resume, Linux, video production and a social thinking class.

No, we offer hands-on and project-based training which will reflect more in portfolio and skills development. We do have relationships with business which could possibly help you get a job after training if you want a full-time job.

We also align ourselves with Voc Rehab, Job Point and Impact Support Services, organizations that also help individuals find employment. With the advanced tech skills, our students learn, their potential for finding higher-skilled and better-paid work is increased.

Course fees range from $450-$900 per class, each session. Courses and their associated fees will be posted prior to the start of enrollment for each semester. Students can choose to take all or some of the classes offered each session.

Scholarships are available and there is some funding available through local service agencies. We can discuss your options during the application process.

Our classes are held in a spacious, comfortable classroom on the fifth floor of First Presbyterian Church at 16 Hitt St (next to Uprise Bakery). Although we are downtown, parking is available!

Class times vary each session, but they are usually held on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
