Who We Are
We are a unique “place and space” where Neurodivergent students and their families have an opportunity to build their skills and abilities by participating in vocational training and receiving job readiness skills via our semester classes within the areas of Technology/Career, Social Skills Development and Therapeutic Recreation.
Our uniquely blended services continue to fill the gaps many students and families find within the current disability services structure. We believe our success in meeting the programming needs of our students depends upon our understanding and commitment to knowing that when we are supporting a child/youth with autism or other disability, in any setting, at any age that we are also already supporting the Neurodivergent or Autistic Adult they will become.
We believe that while no student will ever outgrow their neurodiversity; we do believe they can grow into it. We empower and support students to understand that their diagnosis or disability is just one part of their identity and who they are as a person. We strive to create a community where all people with disabilities and their families can (and do) live as independently as possible; with dignity and pride in who they are by leading self-determined lives filled with meaningful experiences.
